These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Kingswood Shutters website and the supply and installation of our products and services. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Kingswood Shutters supplies and installs bespoke plantation shutters throughout Hertfordshire, North London and the surrounding areas.

2. Quotations

All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation.

Our quotations are fixed-price and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

As our shutters are made to measure, any changes requested after an order has been placed may result in additional costs.

3. Design Visits

Design visits are arranged by appointment and typically include measuring windows, discussing styles and finishes, and providing product samples.

We reserve the right to reschedule appointments where necessary.

4. Orders

An order is confirmed only once written acceptance has been received and any agreed deposit has been paid.

All shutters are bespoke products manufactured specifically for your property.

5. Deposits and Payments

A deposit may be required before manufacture commences.

The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Ownership of goods remains with Kingswood Shutters until payment has been received in full.

6. Lead Times

Lead times are estimates only and may vary depending on the chosen product range and supplier availability.

Whilst every effort is made to meet estimated timescales, Kingswood Shutters cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our reasonable control.

7. Installation

Customers are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the property during installation.

We will take all reasonable care when carrying out installations. However, minor making-good, decorating or touch-ups may occasionally be required following installation.

8. Cancellations

As all shutters are made to measure, orders cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has commenced.

Any cancellation prior to manufacture may be subject to costs already incurred.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

9. Colours and Samples

Whilst every effort is made to ensure colours and finishes are accurately represented, variations may occur due to lighting, photography, screen settings and natural material characteristics.

Samples are provided for guidance only.

10. Guarantees

Selected products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty of up to 12 years.

Warranty terms may vary depending on the product range.

The warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage
Misuse or neglect
General wear and tear
Damage caused by excessive moisture or improper use
Alterations carried out by third parties

11. Limitation of Liability

Kingswood Shutters shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the supply or installation of products.

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
